File Split Tool

This tool divides a PDF file into multiple files.

• Create a division plan (a list of post-division file names and page ranges contained in each file) of a PDF file, before clicking the Execute button to divide the PDF file according to the plan. Select from the following three types of division plans.
• A plan that uses the bookmark information in the PDF to divide it, so that the destination of the specified bookmarks is the top page of a new PDF.
• A plan that specifies the maximum file size for the post-division PDFs and divides the file into multiple files that do not exceed that maximum.
• A plan that specifies the maximum number of pages in the post-division PDFs and divides the file into multiple files that do not exceed that maximum.
• You can edit a division plan at will as to which page the division should start and what each post-division file should be named. You can also (collectively) change the names of all files according to a naming rule.
• The bookmarks and links in the source PDF are reproduced in each post-division PDF. The destinations for these bookmarks and links are converted to external links that reference one another, maintaining the cross-references of links between post-division files.
• You can also add page labels to each post-division PDF file to maintain the same page numbers as for the pre-division file.
