Powerful bookmark editing functions

Basic operations such as repositioning bookmarks, changing folds, and editing text can be performed intuitively.
In addition, a number of useful commands are provided to quickly adjust the appearance of bookmarks.


(1) Sorting and grouping by chapter number or figure number

The bookmark Edit Tool automatically categorizes bookmarks into “Heading bookmarks”, “Figure bookmarks”, etc., using pre-registered figure bookmark patterns.
It can also group bookmarks by type, such as “Figure” or “Table”.
This makes it possible to instantly and appropriately sort large numbers of bookmarks that are a mixture of heading bookmarks and figure bookmarks.

(2) Automatic hierarchy setting of bookmarks

Appropriately sets the hierarchy of headings and bookmarks based on the text of chapter numbers.
It also sets the hierarchy of the parent bookmark and the bookmark of the figures and tables based on the bookmark pattern.

(3) Collapse bookmarks below the specified level

Allows you to fold bookmarks below the specified level.

(4) Delete all bookmarks below the specified level

You can delete all bookmarks below the specified level.

(5) Removing and formatting spaces in the bookmark string

Remove extra spaces in the bookmark string, and insert spaces after chapter numbers and figure numbers as necessary.

You can also use the “Auto Format” command, which performs the operations (1) through (4) in one step.

Batch creation of bookmarks

The “Batch Create” function greatly reduces the amount of work required to create a large number of bookmarks from scratch.

From the Table of Contents page

You can create bookmarks in bulk by using hyperlinks on the table of contents page or the table of contents text.

From PDF text

You can create bookmarks by searching for headings or figure numbers in the PDF text and jumping to them.

From any text data

You can create bookmarks from any text data you have.
If you use text data that includes page numbers, you can also set the destination at the same time.

Spell check function

Bookmark strings are automatically spell checked and misspelled words are marked.
The spell check dictionary of Acrobat is used, so you can customize the dictionary.
